Place a receptacle under the spout

Press the boil button and wait 30 minutes

After 30 minutes press the boil button again

Dispense 2 litres of hot water (can be done in smaller steps)

Press boil button and wait 30 minutes

After 30 minutes test water again
Virgin Pure filters are designed to keep as much mineral content in the water as possible to provide the most wholesome glass of water. This means there are mineral deposits in your hot water storage tank. It's possible to stir these up during filter changes and when the machine is new as it hasn't settled in yet.
