Our Taap Home Water System MiniHot Beta Participant Agreement
This Participant Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal contract between Our Taap UK Ltd (“Our Taap”, “we”,
“us” or “our”) and you, an individual applying to participate in the Our Taap Home Water System MiniHot Beta
programme
(“you” or “Participant”). By applying to participate, you accept and agree to this Agreement, as well as Our
Taap’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If you have any questions, please contact us at beta@ourtaap.com.
1. Eligibility and Participation
This programme is open only to legal residents of the United Kingdom who are at least
eighteen (18) years of age. By applying, you confirm that you satisfy these requirements.
Acceptance into the programme are at Our Taap’s sole discretion and you may decline this invitation.
2. Services and Obligations
If you are accept our invitation, you will be asked to test the Our Taap Home Water System
MiniHot
Beta and provide honest feedback through surveys we send you. Your feedback must
reflect your honest opinions
and experiences, must not be false or misleading, and must comply with applicable laws.
Survey completion is mandatory. By joining this programme, you agree to complete all
surveys we send
regarding your experience with the system. These surveys help us improve our products.
You must not make false claims about Our Taap or the system and must not share confidential
information we provide. You agree to comply with any usage instructions and confidentiality
obligations that
accompany the product.
3. Product and Filter Provision
Our Taap will provide you with one (1) Our Taap Home Water System MiniHot Beta and the
first two filters
free of charge as part of your participation. Except for these items, you are responsible for any
equipment, utilities or supplies needed to use the system.
Once the first two filters have been used, you will be responsible for purchasing any additional
filters
required for continued operation of the system.
The system and initial filters are provided to you for the purpose of this programme. You may not
sell
or transfer the system or filters to anyone else until after the Beta program is finished
and the
product is launched to market.
If you fail to complete the required surveys, or if you breach this Agreement, Our Taap reserves
the
right to invoice you for the retail price of the system. This charge will reflect the
proposed retail
cost of the Our Taap Home Water System MiniHot Beta and will be payable on demand.
4. Ownership & Rights
Any feedback you provide through surveys is considered “Content”. You hereby grant Our Taap a
worldwide, royaltyfree, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce and display your feedback in any
medium for marketing or product development. We may use your name and any quotes from your feedback
for promotional purposes without further approval or payment.
Our Taap retains all right, title and interest in any materials or intellectual property associated
with the product. You receive no ownership rights in the system or its design.
5. Confidentiality
During your participation, you may receive information about Our Taap or the system that is not public.
You agree not to share any confidential information and to safeguard any proprietary materials. Upon
completion or termination of the programme, you must return or destroy any confidential materials as
directed.
6. Waiver and Release
By participating, you assume all risks associated with using the system and waive any claims against Our
Taap arising from your participation, except where prohibited by law. Our Taap does not guarantee that
the system will be free from defects, but we will act reasonably to address any issues.
7. Termination
You may withdraw from the programme at any time by written notice, provided you have completed all
outstanding surveys or returned the system. Our Taap may terminate your participation at any time if
you breach this Agreement or fail to complete required surveys.
Upon termination for failure to complete surveys or other breach, Our Taap may require you to return
the system at your own cost or pay the full retail price.
8. Miscellaneous
This Agreement represents the entire agreement between you and Our Taap regarding the programme and
supersedes prior understandings.
You are an independent participant, not an Our Taap employee or agent.
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
This Agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be
resolved in the courts of England.
