HIRE AGREEMENT REGULATED BY THE CONSUMER CREDIT ACT 1974
This page together with the Terms and Conditions form an agreement (“Agreement”) between Our Taap UK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under Company number 04880825 and having its registered address at 79-81 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NQ (“Our Taap” “we”, “us”, “our”) and the customer whose particulars are set out below (“Customer”, “you”, “your”).

The Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) is the supervisory authority, and our firm’s authorisation number is 10003339.

IMPORTANT: This Agreement consists of a number of important terms, namely:

• The terms on which we will provide you with a water system (including the pipework and by-pass kit if applicable) (“Equipment”) on a hire basis; and
• The terms on which we will install the Equipment; and
• The terms on which we will provide the Equipment.

Once signed, these documents constitute a legally binding agreement.

Please read all the terms carefully and let us know if you have any questions. You should only sign these documents and return them to us if you wish to enter into a legally binding agreement with us.

Hire Period

A fixed minimum hire period of Twenty four (24) months from the date of installation (Minimum Hire Period) and the Agreement will then continue on a rolling monthly basis unless cancelled in accordance with this Agreement.

Price

Installation fee: taken in full on signature.

The monthly hire payment is £24.99 for the first and £32.99 for the remaining months, and will be taken on or around the monthly anniversary of the installation date, except for the first hire payment which will be taken 5 – 15 days after installation. Payment will be by direct debit.

The payments include VAT at the current rate

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL:

This agreement covers both the Hire and Installation and operation of the Water System and you have the following separate cancellation rights:

1. Under the Hire Agreement, you have the right to cancel at any time before the end of 14 days after the Agreement Start Date.
2. After the Water System is installed, you will be entitled to a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. You have 30 days after installation to change your mind.
   Unless exercising the above cancellation rights, if you terminate during the minimum hire period an ‘early termination fee’ is payable. If you want to terminate the Agreement after expiry of the minimum hire period, you must give us 30 days’ notice.
   
   If you change your mind or the Hire Agreement otherwise ends, you must allow us access to the property to uninstall the Water System and take it back.

ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS:

All orders are subject to availability and must meet our eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to conduct a credit reference on you to determine eligibility. If your order is not accepted by us we will refund any sums paid and notify you that your agreement is cancelled.

MISSING PAYMENTS:

Missing payments could have severe consequences and may make obtaining credit more difficult. If you do not make any payment to us by the due date we may charge interest to you on the overdue amount at the rate of 8% a year above the base lending rate of Barclays Bank plc from time to time. We may make an administrative charge of £20 for every late payment.

Key Information

This is a Hire Agreement. You do not own the Water System and must return it at the end of the hire period. If you fail to do so, we will ask you to pay for the cost of a replacement.

If you damage the Water System at any time, you will need to pay for the cost of the repair.

IMPORTANT – READ THIS CAREFULLY TO FIND OUT ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS

The Consumer Credit Act 1974 covers this agreement and lays down certain requirements for your protection which should have been complied with when this agreement was made. If they were not, the owner cannot enforce this agreement against you without getting a court order.
